Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist
Life is full…and inevitably we hit bumps in the road. In my personal life and practice, I have learned to look at those bumps as opportunities. Sometimes it is an opportunity to develop a new strategy for coping. Other times it may be an opportunity to focus on unresolved emotional or relational conflict. Regardless, it becomes about the process, your process, in getting over the bumps…..and turning these into your strengths.
I am licensed by the Washington State Department of Health as a Marriage and Family Therapist #LF 60831499 and a clinical member of the American Association of Marriage & Family Therapy (AAMFT) as well as the Washington Association of Marriage & Family Therapy (WAMFT). With a Masters in Psychology from Antioch University, Seattle, I have specialized training and experience in working with relationship issues, feelings of anxiety and depression and experiences of trauma. I have worked with children, adolescents, their parents, individual adults and couples in community mental health settings, schools and currently in private practice. Having lived a large portion of my life overseas, I have extensive personal and professional experience in multi-cultural environments. I am married and a parent to two young adults.
